RME wins second DOE Phase I SBIR grant

The U.S. Department of Energy today announced that it has awarded Resolute Marine Energy, Inc. a Phase I SBIR grant to design an innovative system for automatically modifying the geometry of wave energy collectors in response to changing wave conditions

“We’re pleased to, once again, be the recipient of DOE research & development funding,” Mr. Staby said. “The work we do in Phase I of this project will prove the feasibility of a system that may help improve the conversion efficiency, capacity factor and survivability of wave energy converters.”
