The U.S. Department of Energy today announced that it has awarded Resolute Marine Energy, Inc. a Phase I SBIR grant to design and build an innovative system for a variable-geometry oscillating wave surge converter paddle
"This project marks the development of a new Wave Energy Converter technology to provide power to the grid in the US. It also the first step in the design of our wave-driven desalination application" said Olivier Ceberio, RME's COO
RME is a pioneer in the development and deployment of innovative solutions for producing power at sea. The company is initially focusing on building wave energy conversion (WEC) systems focused on specific commercial and government applications.
