Southern New England Entrepreneurs Forum (SNEEF) holds event at the UMASS Dartmouth ATMC – “BUILDING A MARINE TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS ON THE SOUTHCOAST”

SNEEF (www.sneef.umassd.edu) held its November 6th meeting at the ATMC in Fall River and the focus was on the marine technology sector. Alf Carroll of Raytheon Company lead a lively and wide-ranging panel discussion among several marine technology experts and audience members included a "who's who" of regional marine technology companies e.g. Lockheed Martin, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI). Resolute CEO Bill Staby was part of the sell-out crowd and commented, "there's a huge concentration of ocean sciences and ocean engineering talent in the Southcoast region and to see this level of turn-out can only mean that we're not the only ones who see the merits of locating here."
