U.S. Department of Interior’s Minerals Management Service awards Resolute tank testing time at OHMSETT National Oil Spill Response Test Tank Facility

Pursuant to a request for proposals under a FY 2009 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) under the Technology Assessment and Research (TA&R) Program, Resolute was awarded tank testing time to test wave energy converter prototypes at the Ohmsett National Oil Spill Response Test Tank Facility in Leonardo, NJ (www.ohmsett.com). Resolute CEO Bill Staby commented, "we're extremely grateful to the MMS for awarding us this valuable tank testing time and we look forward to working together with the MMS in 2009 to develop a strong knowledge base around using wave tanks to fairly evaluate various wave energy converter designs."
