Resolute Featured in IEA-OES Publication – “Alternative Markets for Ocean Energy”

Resolute Marine co-founder and CEO Bill Staby was recently interviewed by the International Energy Agency - Ocean Energy Systems (IES-OES) for a publication entitled ‘Alternative Markets for Ocean Energy.’  With cooperation and assistance provided by multiple stakeholders including the African Development Bank, Resolute is preparing to deploy its first wave-powered desalination plant in Cape Verde and, in the article, Bill gives his views on the challenges associated with proving that wave-powered desalination systems can form the foundation of a profitable, scalable, and sustainable business.

The publication can be accessed here.

Bill Staby commented: ‘We’re honored to be recognized by the IEA-OES for our efforts to solve one of the most pressing issues facing the planet today. IEA-OES clearly recognizes that ocean energy technologies can be an attractive option for many different energy markets within the Blue Economy.’
