RME wins Clean Energy Investment Prize

New Energy New York and the Energy & Environmental Technology Applications Center (E2TAC) at the SUNY-Albany College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) hosted the Fourth Annual New Energy Symposium July 8-9, 2009 at the New York Academy of Science in New York City. Over 400 people participated in the Symposium over two days and 21 competitively-selected entrepreneurs pitched their business plans to a panel of investors and financial industry experts

At the conclusion of the event, RME was selected as one of three winners and was awarded both prize money and an automatic entry into the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Industry Growth Forum which will take place November 3-5, 2009 in Denver, CO

Industry/government participants in the Symposium included GE Global Research, NYSERDA, Cisco, IBM and UTC and the cleantech venture capital community was well represented by companies including Kleiner Perkins, Good Energies, Khosla Ventures and Flagship Ventures.
